This course on hydrophytic vegetation teaches wetland technicians how to identify woody plants common to PA wetlands. Being able to identify these types of plants is an important part of conducting wetland determinations. Plants that are adapted to living in wetland environments take on specific characteristics that can aid in determining if an area is a wetland. The full course can be found here.
